January 25, 2006 – General Meeting

On January 25, 2006, President Marty Barrett and the Executive Board of the Honor Legion Police Departments of New Jersey, welcome 350 guest to the monthly meeting held at the Empire Club, in Little Ferry, New Jersey.  Sworn in as new members of the Honor Legion were:

Leslie J. Genovese of the Spotswood Police Department

Frank Iurato 3rd of the New Jersey Transit Police Department
Taithram Khadroo of the Paterson Pol ice Department
Dennis Mc Goldrick of the Bergenfield Police Department
Joseoh Mecionis of the Fairlawn Police Department
Mark Metzig of the Edison Police Department
Thomas Miller of the Bergenfield Police Department
Robert Orosco of the Paterson Police Department
Joseph L. Passarotti of the Port Authority Police Department
Christopher Scardino of the Union City Police Department

Several citizens were sworn in as Honored Citizens for their continued oustanding dedication to law enforcement.

The Honor Legion of the Police Departments of New Jersey, was incorporated on December 27, 1966, and is recognized as a non-profit charitable organization under section 501c3. The Honor Legion is a fraternal, non-political organization that develops and encourages fraternal, charitable, social, and education al activities of its members, as well as supporting societal programs. We are also involved in sponsoring programs towards children with disabilities. We provide support and assistance monetarily, morally, or in any way possible, to a New Jersey Law Enforcement Officer’s family when he/she is killed in the line of duty.
