guests to the Monthly General Meeting of the Honor Legion held at the Empire Club in Little Ferry. Sworn in as new members of the Honor Legion were the following: Christian A. Araujo of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department, Jose L. Arroyo of the West New York Police Department, Christopher R. Beck of the Palisades Park Police Department, Department, Frank J. Boldis III of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Det. Lt. Stephen
Dembowski of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, John Dimiceli Sr., of the Netcong Police Department, Mark D. Finocchiaro of the Fort Lee Police Department, Marcos J. Garciga of the West New York Police Department, David P. Hill of the Englewood Cliffs Police Department, Hector C. Jones of the Woodbridge Police Department, Timothy J. Lombardo of the Edison Police Department, Benjamin A. Ramos of the Palisades Park Police Department, and Milton M. Smilek of the Paterson Police
Department. Also sworn in were 6 guests as Honored Citizens for their continued outstanding dedication to law enforcement The Honor Legion of the Police Departments of New Jersey was incorporated on Dec. 27, 1966 and is recognized as a nonprofit charitable organization under section 501 3. The Honor Legion is a fraternal, non-political organization that develops
and encourages fraternal, charitable, social, and educational activities of its members, as well as supporting societal programs. We are also involved in sponsoring programs towards children with disabilities. We provide support and assistance monetarily, morally, or in any way possible, to a New Jersey Law Enforcement Officer’s family when he/she is killed in the line of duty.
